Adding a page

To add a page to your website, select Pages from the My Site menu.

On the Content Manager page a list of your current pages will be displayed.  Click the Add New Page button at the top of the page.

On the next screen enter a Title for the new cotent page.  In the WYSIWYG editor you can add and edit the content for the new page.  To save your changes to the content page click the save button in the toolbar.  If you decide you do not want to add a page, select Cancel at the top of the page and it will return you to the Content Manger page. 

Adding Pages

On the right side of the page you will see additional options for publishing the page.  If you do not want the page to be published on your website yet select No under Published and Sitemap.  This will prevent the page from showing up in your sitemap until you are ready to publish it.  When you decide you want to publish the page, change Published and Sitemap to Yes.  The Author of the page will be the user logged into the CMS.  If you want to change the Author, select a user name from the drop down menu.    If the page is going to be a sub-page, select the main page in the Parent Content drop down menu.  Note:  If the page was created as a sub-page under another page, do not assign a Parent Content page.

If you need to delete a page, on the Pages list click on the red X next to the page you wish to delete.  There will be a prompt that will ask if you want to delete the page, click OK. 

Note: Deleting a page will also delete any sub-pages connected to that page.  You can restore this deleted page through the Recycle Bin.

Editing a page

To edit an existing content page, select the page from the list of your current content pages by clicking on the Title of the page you want to edit.  On the next page you can edit the Title of the content page and/or the Content for that page.  If the page has not been published on the website yet and you are ready to publish the page, change Published and Sitemap on the right side of the page to Yes.  When you have finished making your changes, click Save & Close

Sub-pages

To add a sub-page under an existing page, select Pages under the My Site menu.  You will see the list of your current pages.  To add a sub-page click on the + button next to the page you wish to add the sub-page to then click the Add Subpage button.

On the next screen, add the Title for the sub-page and enter the content in the WYSIWYG Editor.  When you have finished, click Save & Close.

To view all sub-pages under a main page, click on the + button next to the main page.  This will display all sub-pages you have created under that main page. 

To delete a sub-page, click on the red X next to the sub-page you wish to delete.  You can recover deleted pages through the Recycle Bin.

To view the WYSIWYG Editor in full screen click the Toggle Fullscreen Mode button in the toolbar.

Pasting Content from Microsoft Word

To paste content created in Microsoft Word into the WYSIWYG Editor, highlight and copy the content in the Word document.  Next, in the CMS select the Paste From Word button from the toolbar.

Note:  Using right click and paste will not work in iPlasmaCMS.  You must use CTRL + V to paste the content.

To paste content in the WYSIWYG from another website, first copy the content.   Next use CTRL + V to paste the text in the WYSIWYG Editor.  The content will hold the same formatting it had on the other website.  To remove this formatting, highlight the text that has been pasted and select Remove Formatting from the toolbar.

To paste the content as plain text, after copying the content select the Paste As Plain Text button from the toolbar.

Inserting/Editing An Image

Note: Remember to resize your images BEFORE uploading them to the Tiny Browser.  Resizing the images using insert/edit image functions may distort or pixalate your images. 

To insert an image on a page, place the cursor where you want the image to be placed and then select the Insert/Edit Image button on the toolbar (The button with an image of a tree.)

To insert an image that has already been uploaded, in the Insert/Edit Image box select the Browse button next to the Image URL.

This will open the Tiny Browser in the Browse page and you will see all of the images that have been previously uploaded.  To find the image you want to insert, you can search for the image with the Search box or scroll through the images.  Select the image you want to insert by clicking on it.

This will return you to the General tab of the Insert/Edit image box.  Here you can add an Image Description and/or a Title for the image (this is not required to insert the image).  The preview section shows how the image will look on the content page.

To edit the image, select the Appearance tab.  To set the Alignment for the image (how the text wraps around the image), select the alignment you want the image to have from the dropdown menu.  For example, if you want the image to wrap to the left of the image select Left from the dropdown menu.  To change the dimensions of the image, enter the width and height proportions in the Dimensions section.  To add Vertical and/or Horizontal space around the image, enter the amount of space you want around the image (vertically or horizontally) in the box.  To add a Border around the image, enter 1 for the width.

To insert an image that has not been previously loaded, first place the cursor where you want the image to be placed on the page and select the Insert/Edit Image button from the toolbar.  In the Insert/Edit Image box, select the Browse button next to the Image URL box.  Your Tiny Browser box will load displaying all images you have previously uploaded, select the Upload tab at the top of the box.

Select Browse to find the image file(s) on your computer, then select Upload.  You can upload multiple images together.  To remove files you do not want to upload, select the file name and then select Remove.  Once the file(s) has uploaded, a green box will appear at the top of the browser box saying "file(s) successfully uploaded."  To insert the uploaded image(s) return to the Browse tab.  In the browse tab you can find images by scrolling through the images or search for the name of the image using the Search box.  Select the image you want to insert.  When the main Insert/Edit Image box, click Insert.

In the Insert/Edit Image box you can also Edit the image files that have been uploaded and create Folders for the images.  To Edit an image, select the Edit tab in the Tiny Browser.

Select the Action from the drop down menu.  You can delete the image file, rename the file, move the file, resize the file, or rotate the file.  When the action is selected the last column will change to reflect the Action chosen(i.e. In the image below Rename was chosen from the Action drop down menu.  Notice the last column now says Rename).  Then select the image you want to edit or delete by checking the box in the last column.

Inserting/Uploading Images

The last tab in the TinyBrowser is Folders.  In this tab you can create folders for your images, delete folders, or edit folders.  To create a folder, type a name for the folder in box under Create then click Create Folders
