St. Baldrick's 2012 Raised $8,759.00 To Date
For a few weeks after Saturday, April 21st the town of Franklin, VA saw an increase in its bald population. This was due to locals' participation in a St. Baldrick’s event held at Fred’s Restaurant in Downtown Franklin.
St. Baldrick’s is a foundation that is dedicated to raise money through fundraisers for childhood cancer research.
For the past four years Scott and Michelle Seddon have organized a St. Baldrick’s event in Franklin, VA. Scott Seddon’s mother died of cancer 20 years ago and he has worked with cancer foundations ever since.
The St. Baldrick’s foundraiser in Franklin is always dedicated to the memory of Casey Rich, who during his life always supported children’s groups.
The team at Insercorp was honored to be a part of the event this year which as of today, Tuesday, May 15th has raised $8,759.00.
