Innovation and advocacy are the two key points in mapping out the mission of the Education Foundation for Isle of Wight County Schools. The Education Foundation for Isle of Wight County Schools seeks to provide students, teachers, and the community with the means to a more rewarding educational experience.
The Education Foundation for Isle of Wight County Schools has received over $190,000 in grants since hosting the Students First Gala and Auction in 2007. The Foundation is a separate entity from Isle of Wight County Schools and is completely not-for-profit. The goal is to furnish proceeds for student projects, educational programs, and any other improvements or creative ideas requiring funding that may be outside of the schools’ budget.
The main goals of the Education Foundation for Isle of Wight County Schools are to improve the visibility of the physical campuses and the communication among the schools and the community. To develop instrumental relationships, the Education Foundation also strives to promote career and college planning, to recruit and retain staff members, to support on and off campus enrichment and resources, to promote innovation, and to acknowledge outstanding contributions to Isle of Wight County Schools.
The Insercorp Team is excited to work with the Education Foundation on this particular project. They did not have their own website in the past, and Insercorp is going to build them one from the ground up! After the launch of IOWFoundation.org, visitors will have access to forms that will make it easier to donate, volunteer, and information on the various ways to donate and the programs that will benefit.
