FRANKLIN, VIRGINIA (January 17, 2013) - Insercorp LTD, headquartered in Franklin, Virginia, has been contracted by Isle of Wight County Schools for the next five years to provide services for the school division including website design, website development, web hosting and support, and Apple iPad app development.
"We are very excited to work with Insercorp on developing our new division website. They have been a wonderful partner to our school division and we look forward to unveiling a website that reflects the direction we are progressing toward as we prepare our students for educational excellence in the 21st century," said Kenita Bowers, Coordinator for Community Relations and Media Affairs for Isle of Wight County Schools.
This agreement marks Insercorp’s first for a Public School System, continuing in Insercorp’s mission to provide better communication design and information systems services to the Education Sector. The partnership includes Insercorp as a sponsor for the Division’s ten websites in an effort to help Isle of Wight County Schools cut down on costs.
“I am excited to work with Isle of Wight County Schools in strengthening their web-based technology needs,” said Tim Bradshaw, Founder & CEO of Insercorp LTD. “The School Division’s websites are in much need of an improved user interface and better tools for staff to effectively communicate information to the public.” Mr. Bradshaw was employed as a Substitute Teacher by Isle of Wight County Schools before launching his web development company in 2007.
The purpose of any website is to inform. Communication design is an essential aspect of our world today, and whether it be for a retail shop on Main Street or an entire school system, websites are important and useful tools for communicating important information.
Isle of Wight County Schools is a school system comprised of nine elementary, middle, and high schools serving approximately 5,500 students. Isle of Wight County's School Division website contains a plethora of information that is significant to the students, parents, new and potential employees, and residents of Isle of Wight County.
There are substantial amounts of information displayed on the website ranging from important calendar dates (school closings, inclement weather updates, athletic schedules, etc.) to employment opportunities..and everything in between! The IWCS Division website will contain links to access any of the individual schools' websites located in Isle of Wight County. Additionally Insercorp will be re-designing each of the nine schools’ websites with custom branding for each school.
The websites will be developed using Insercorp's proprietary iPlasmaCMS2 Content Management System and will also feature Google Search Integration and Google Translate.
