Southampton Tree Services is a family owned business.
The company is the vision of Ben Weidemann, a police officer with the Norfolk Police Department (NPD).
At the same time Ben began working for NPD he also began helping an old Navy buddy as a grounds man for his tree company. During that time, Ben learned many skills and gained much knowledge in regards with the process of tree and stump removal.
After 4 years of helping his Navy buddy out with his tree company Ben started to acquire a yearning and desire to start his own tree business.
Southampton Tree Services is fully licensed in Virginia and North Carolina and employs 10 full time employees during its peak time.
Ben and his crew, which includes his lovely wife Tina, are committed to bringing a premium tree removal service to both residential and commercial properties.
