The Education Foundation for Isle of Wight County Schools is a private, not-for-profit organization that is a separate entity from Isle of Wight County Schools. The goal of any non-profit education foundation is to provide funding for the improvement of the said school or school district.
Public schools are rendered portional funding from the government for various reasons but is limited, however, the need for support and advocacy of these programs is ongoing. There is always room for improvement especially when it comes to education.
