Step By Step Consulting specializes in the treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Board Certified Behavior Analyst Wendy Fitch created Step By Step in 2005 as an in-home based program/consulting business and has grown to include specialized therapeutic programs housed in a new facitlity that opened its doors in 2006 in Suffolk, VA. Step By Step offers therapeutic ABA Programs for children age 12 months to 21 years with Autism, Asperger's and PDD. Step By Step's therapeutic treatment plans emphasize behavior training and focus on language development, self-help, play and socialization skills utilizing the principles of ABA with an emphasis on Verbal Behavior – a proven method in the treatment of ASD. The professional staff at Step by Step work with children on a 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 ratio and develop customized treatment plans for each child.
Insercorp is currently building a Staff Portal application for Step By Step Consulting. The staff module will feature a Staff Tools section where staff can submit leave requests and submit contact notes. Staff will also be able to manage students and classrooms and be able to input progress reports for each student. A news feed and events calendar will also be featured in the Staff Portal.
