The Town of Ahoskie "The Only One", as a municipal government, seeks to promote, encourage, and support a high quality of life for all its citizens. As a rural community that relies heavily upon its faith based and family oriented communities, as well as its heritage, Ahoskie embraces the diversity of all its citizens. Through the development of quality services, the Town of Ahoskie will work diligently to pursue service delivery that will be cost effective and efficient - Town Friendly - while maintaining the requirements of all local Ordinances, State and Federal Laws.
The Town of Ahoskie had an aging website developed from a template. Insercorp was contracted by the Town of Ahoskie to develop a new website built on Insercorp's proprietary iPlasmaCMS2 Content Management System to make it easy for the Town Manager to make regular updates to the website.
Insercorp helped to organize the structure and hierarchy of the Town's content to provide the wealth of information with user experience at the center of production.
The new website includes an interactive calendar, an interactive Google Map displaying the Town's service locations, a photo gallery, and a much more organized content hierarchy. Work on the Google Map included successful addition of the municipal park, the Ahoskie Recreational Complex, to Google Maps and Google Earth.
