Insercorp Launches First Mobile Website for Line X of Virginia Beach

In today’s fast paced world consumers want fast information at their finger tips and for most consumers that means using the search engine in their smart phone to find what they are looking for.

Line-X of Virginia Beach is well aware of this ever growing trend and hired Insercorp to design and develop its mobile website to accompany the new LineXVB.com.

This presented a welcomed challenge and growth experience for Insercorp since Line-X’s Mobile Website would be the first of its kind that our company designed and developed.

“It was exciting using the framework and building and experimenting with it, it was a lot of fun” said Barrett Patterson, Operations Manager at Insercorp.

When asked what the main differences between designing an on-line website and a mobile website are Barrett responded, “It is a smaller canvas to work on, the content has to be more specific since space is limited and the buttons play a more important role in mobile than they do in regular websites.” 

Line-X’s mobile website includes a "Call" button, GPS integration, E-mail button, and a feed from LineXVB.com's "Specials" category in its iPlasmaCMS2 News Module. The mobile site also features a button to switch to the full desktop site.

The mobile website works on the following Smartphones:  iPhone, Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry.
